Abstract EN

The Holy Qur’an forbade the actions of Lot’s people (PBUH) -which called homosexuality- in several places in it, The Holy Qur’an deals with the story of Lot’s people a lot and his sincere call to avoid these forbidden actions.

The research aims to warn young people against all shapes of homosexuality, and to indicate the dangers of homosexuality to the individual and society.

In preparing the research, I relied on the inductive method which I used with the Quranic verses and the authentic hadiths of the Prophet related to the subject of homosexuality, and the analytical approach; Where I studied the interpretation of verses from several interpretation and hadiths from the explanations of the Sunnah and focused on analyzing the Qur’anic verses showing the interrelationship between them, and highlighting the most important things.

And the deductive approach: to clarify the purposes of the Qur’an verses and hadiths under study and to show their effect on preserving the individual and society from homosexuality.

The research consists of an introduction, Preamble, three chapters, and a conclusion.

The Introduction includes the research problem, questions, objectives, importance, method, limits and plan.

The Preamble: I defined sodomy linguistically and idiomatically, and the words related to it.

The first topic: The story of Lot’s people in the Holy Qur’an .The second topic: the destruction of Lot’s people .The third topic: the punishment for sodomy .Conclusion: The most important results of the research have been proven, including: Homosexuality is an addiction that needs a religious and psychological treatment, and one should stay away from people and places that remind of this anomaly.

Perverts should also be prevented; So that the infection of homosexuality is not transmitted to other members of society.
