Abstract EN

Objective: the current study aimed to develop the kindergarten child's attitude towards protecting the environment using recycling method: a quasi-experimental two-group (control and treatment) research design was used because it is suitable for the nature of this study.

the independent variable is the recycling-based program and the dependent is attitude towards protecting the environment.

instruments: the study included two research instruments: 1- attitudes towards environment illustrated scale for the kindergarten child.

2- the recycling-based program for developing some creative thinking skills and attitude towards protection of the environment of the research group kindergarten children.

the two instruments were administered to 72 male and female KG2 children.

results: there were statistically significant differences at 0.01 level between the mean scores of the control and treatment subjects in the pre-post measurements on the total score of the attitude towards environment in favor of the treatment group and the post-measurement.

this indicates the effectiveness of the recycling-based program in developing the children's attitude towards protecting environment where effect size was great (Eta square equation.
