Abstract EN

This research aims to identify altruistic level of aspiration and its relationship to psychological happiness among the students of the faculty of home economics, Menoufia university.

the research sample consisted of (230) students from the faculty of home economics, Menoufia university, who were randomly selected.

the researcher prepared the scale of psychological happiness and used the scale of altruistic ambition (prepared by dr.

Gihan Sweid, 2012), and then concluded the validity and reliability coefficients and they were acceptable.

the research results concluded that the students of the faculty of home economics have a medium level of psychological happiness and a medium level of altruistic ambition.

the results also showed that there is a direct correlation between psychological happiness and the level of altruistic ambition, and there are statistically significant differences between the male and female students in both psychological happiness and the level of altruistic ambition, in favor of the female students.
