The current research aims to reveal the relationship between mothers’ management of family pressures and feeling of family security for their children, and the research sample consisted of (280) working and nonworking mothers from different social and economic levels who had children in adolescence and (280) of their sons, who were chosen in a purposive way from the neighborhoods of port said governorate and port Fouad, and the descriptive analytical approach was used, and the researcher prepared the initial data form for the family, the mother’s family stress management questionnaire, the children’s primary data form, the feeling of the family security questionnaire for the children, the field application of the research tools was carried out for three months in the period from 15 / 6 / 2021 until 15 / 9 / 2021, and the results of the current research indicated that there is a positive, statistically significant relationship at the level of significance (0.01 between the total sum of the mother’s family stress management and all dimensions of the children’s feeling of family security (psychological-social-intellectual-economic) and its totality, and the research presented a set of recommendations, the most important of which was the inclusion of home economics curricula with topics about stress management and training students on how to manage it properly.

conducting educational and guidance programs and holding training courses for married women and those who are about to get married organized by the authorities concerned with women’s affairs, such as the national council for women and the centers for family guidance and counseling to develop awareness of managing family pressures and how to confront them to support family stability and thus its reflection on the feeling of family security for children.
