Abstract EN

The research aimed to put technical specifications for wedding design clothes for women in light of the customs and traditions in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, inventing designs for them according to these specifications, measuring the percentage of acceptance by both specialists and consumers of the proposed designs, and the implementation one of the designs that had got the highest acceptance rate by the two research samples, the research followed the descriptive analytical approach, with the applied study, the results reached to put technical specifications for wedding design clothes for women according to Saudi customs and traditions by referring to recent studies specialized in wedding clothes for to identify each of its (constructive and decorative design lines, basic and auxiliary materials),in addition to describing the bridal wear designs for the most famous fashion designers according to the latest fashion trends, and the results of a survey of consumers’ opinions about bridal fashion designs according to the customs and traditions of the Saudi society, as well as creating (15) wedding dress designs based on the technical specifications set for the age group (20-20 years).
