Abstract EN
The Bayesian approach is a statistical analysis technique that integrates field-collected data and expert opinion into probability model.
There is a direct link between Bayesian statistics and diagnostic tests daily used by clinicians.
This link is Bay's theorem for calculating the positive or negative predictive values of a diagnostic test.
To this end, we have tried to apply this approach for the analysis of the data relating to the diagnostic test concerning raised blood pressure (HTA).
