The Algerian constitutional council is concerned with ensuring that the constitution is well respected, as it authorized to search for appropriate solutions in order to solve the various political and constitutional crises in the country, moreover, his role varied between that in 1992 when it played a negative role, as a result of the literal commitment to the text as well as not to get out of that crisis, and even opened the way for the emergence of unconstitutional institutions and reaching a serious political and security crisis, as well as he shoved his role in dealing with the crisis in 2019 when he took the initiative according to what is permitted by the spirit of the constitution in order to provide the appropriate conditions for the election of the president of the republic, and to avoid entering an unconstitutional transition phase with unknown consequences.
