Algeria has taken a set of preventive measures to limit the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, home quarantine and restriction of movement and the freedom to practice economic activities to protect public health.

but, it was not interested in adopting modern technologies to settle disputes through arbitration.

the arbitration centers saw as imperative, considering that electronic arbitration the best way to resolve conflicts, guarantees social distancing and protects people from the risks.

by using videoconferencing with the electronic transmission of notices and documents, it is necessary to modify the provisions governing arbitration in Algerian law so as to allow the use of modern technologies at all stages of the arbitration litigation.
