Ibrahim Mayasi is one of the prominent figures of thought in Algeria, and one of the most prominent poles of the Algerian historical school.

It is not hidden from any important student of the history of Algeria, the works of the late Ibrahim Mayasi, he enriched the acquired.

His aspiration was broad and saturated in his historical writings, in general and Algerian history in particular.

In Gafsa (Tunisia), after that he lived a life of solution and travel seeking knowledge and sacrificing for the sake of scientific research with every effort and life immersed in seeking knowledge and taking risks in obtaining certificates, to be one of the historians who crossed the boundaries of historical writing and a survey of new in it, and therefore we can say that he contributed to building a school Algerian history.
