Entrepreneurship is a vital element for growth and sustainable development, due to its economic and social impacts, prompting countries to harness their capacities to encourage it.

The present paper shed light on the reality of entrepreneurship in some developing countries, by addressing their experiences with entrepreneurship to extract lessons that can benefit policy-makers in Algeria in designing the appropriate policies for the expansion of entrepreneurship.

The study concluded that policy-makers, wherever, have many tools and policies that can be used to promote the establishment of entrepreneurial companies and facilitating their growth
