This is a critical study that examines the perspectives on meanings in terms of the mental activity practiced by the speaker before expressing its meaning.

The study showed that this activity was known to critics as the take to meaning, and they had theoretical and applied practices in it, and then the research came under the title: The Take to Meaning in the Critical Code between Theoretical and Applied Practice, to benefit from these practices, and apply them to some selected texts, and included: An introduction in which is a brief summary of the subject, and a preface containing the concept of the take to meaning and the terms that critics expressed about it, and it came in three sections, the first of which was concerned with presenting the critics' theoretical practices of the socket to meaning, and the second topic was concerned with their applied practices, and the third topic came to devise the approach And its application to some texts, which they pointed to and did not reveal the aspects of proximity and distance in them.

The study came to some results, including: The take to the meaning is a revealing of the mental practices of speech before it is revealed, as it is one of the doors of revealing the worlds of the soul that are shrouded in mystery and intertwining, and as much as it is difficult to invoke the sockets left by the speaker, it is to stand on the reality of the meanings' perception of them.
