The preface is a definition of the study terms: structure، narration، the one-day novel، and the definition of the writer، then the first topic came to talk about the structure of the characters in the novel through the concept، importance، and dimensions of the character's drawing، then classifying the characters in the novel into major and minor، and their role in the development of events and construction The second topic is about the structure of time in the novel، it was talked about through the concept، importance، and temporal techniques used in the narration system (recall، anticipation، summarizing، deleting، pause، scene) and how it was employed، and the third topic the structure of place in the novel، the talk came in it On the concept and the problem of the multiplicity of the term، the role of place among the elements of the narration، the dimensions of the place، and the formations of place in the novel.

The fourth topic is the elements of narration in the novel، in which the talk came about the narrator and his presence، the vision and its place، then the textual thresholds and their presence in the novel، as well as intertextuality and its images، then the conclusion including the most important results، then revealing indexes.
