The research aims to highlight how Imru' al-Qays's feelings were directed at him in many of his defensive tricks in poetry, and to show what is behind some of his claims of alleged virility; By entering the psychological world of Imru' al-Qays, following the methods of Adler and others who wrote in this direction, the inferiority complex is manifested in a person's constant feeling of his lack of others; Which makes him look at himself far from the real reality in order to exalt him or reduce it, and look at others with a look of malice and hatred or say a projective look; because he sees himself undesirable from the group to which he belongs; It involves himself, and escapes from the responsibilities of life, and when this feeling settles in himself, he resorts to making fun of others, or claiming an alleged linguistic heroism that appears in the constant desire to be superior to others, and thus he adopts a form of aggressive behavior; In order to prove himself, and achieve psychological satiation, a feeling of inferiority overtook the Qais because of his impotence.

Therefore, he was keen to suggest to himself, before suggesting to others, that his girlfriends are silk, and this is a claim denied by reality and rejected by Arab customs, their protection and fear for their women; So flirting with him became nothing more than a dream, and the research proved that the claim of sexual virility in Imru' al-Qays is nothing but a compensatory means and a psychological trick to hide the feeling of inferiority that controls him, because of his impotence, or at the very least his inability to communicate with women in a manner befitting his alleged heroism.

I followed the artistic approach to studying the poet's poetry, and the psychological approach to its importance in illuminating the text.
