Abstract EN

The aim of this research in general is to identify and reveal the reality of women’s economic empowerment within the governorate of Suez in the light of the sustainable development goals and the extent to which they have achieved financial independence through the visions and orientations of educated women working in different sectors, whether the government sector, the private sector, the business sector and women.

the research relied on the use of the descriptive analytical method to describe the reality of women's economic empowerment within the Suez governorate, and the questionnaire was used as a basic tool for collecting data from 400 educated women working and not working in the Suez governorate to study their attitudes and vision of the reality of women's economic empowerment.

the results of the research revealed that the Swiss woman has now become economically viable in a socially acceptable manner, so she is able to work independently from men, whether in the governmental or private sectors or the business sector, and establish her own projects, and this prompted her to develop her skills, abilities and confidence, which enabled her to integrate within society, as it is one of the most valuable human energies that society must seek to benefit from in development processes.

the results also showed that women were economically empowered and their ability to obtain independent income enabled them to be independent and wise decisions makers and gave them the right to property like men.

to some extent, she can provide for her and her family's basic needs.
