Abstract EN

Most studies indicate that financial governance mechanisms play an important role in raising efficiency and performance in the banking sector ; The aim of this study is to highlight the role of financial governance mechanisms and their relationship to financial performance indicators.

The analytical descriptive approach has been drawn upon with the theoretical study, which illustrates the relationship between the two variables, draws on a case-study approach by reviewing the main activity indicators and analysing data received on the Algerian Peace Bank during the period.

(2016-2020) found a positive correlation between financial performance indicators and the application of the Bank's bank governance standards.

With transparency and disclosure in all Bank's business and activities and a strong Board of Directors capable of implementing Bank's activities under the laws and regulations in an ethical manner, it is the basis for creating excellence and efficiency in financial performance.
