Abstract EN

Total quality has become a method of modern management that aims to develop the performance of educational institutions by building a deep culture of quality that focuses on the comprehensive idea of developing these institutions in a way that allows them to keep pace with global developments by keeping pace with international, regional and local changes in order to adapt to them.

Most higher education institutions around the world have tended to work on the application of the total quality management system in order to achieve a high degree of continuous improvement in scientific production and raise the efficiency of workers in these institutions to ensure that graduates have the basic knowledge that qualifies them to compete in the labor market efficiently.

High at both the local and global levels.

The study aimed to know the obstacles and challenges that faced higher education institutions in order to implement the total quality management system.

The study concluded that there are many obstacles that prevented these institutions from applying the total quality system, the most important of which are : the lack of management understanding and awareness of the importance of total quality and the benefits it can achieve for the benefit of the institution.

As well as the weakness of financial resources, the absence of continuous training for human resources, as well as the lack of a unified vision of how to implement the total quality management system.
