Abstract EN

The study aimed to reveal the reality of the voca¬tional education among Students of the technical colleges in the governorate of zulfi, and to clarify the differences among the scores of the study sample of males and females, and then to provide sug¬gested educational applications to promote the vocational education among students of the technical colleges.

The descriptive method was used, and a questionnaire was developed.

It was applied to a random sample of (80) male students, (120) female students, while the number of jury who judged the suggested applications was (25) experts during the second semester of year (1439-1440).

The most important results were as follows: The calculated value of chi square for the responses of students of the technical colleges ranged from medium to weak and very weak, and that there are statistically significant differences between the mean ranks of the technical colleges students’ scores on the reality of vocational education according to sex variable (male and female students).

Moreover, the approval rate of specialized experts on the suggested educational applications came with a very grate rate of approved in all its aspects: policies and legislation, methods and strategies of teaching and training, vocational guidance and coun¬seling, community participation, means and training environment and activities.

In light of the previous results, some recommendations were made, including the importance of benefiting from the international experiences in the field of The study suggested: conducting a survey to monitor changes in job opportunities, linking the curriculum with the needs of the development requirements, and a study on the difficulties facing the students of technical colleges in joining the labor market and ways to address them.
