Abstract EN

Most of the Algerian sports institutes have witnessed, during the past two years, the organization of several scientific conferences related to sports, which gives the impression of an increase in the pace of academic research activity among professors on the one hand, and in the outcome of the scientific activities of the various sports institutes in Algeria.

However, the follower of the process of these scientific conferences, starting from their announcement to the end of their work, must wonder about what these conferences are, and whether they really succeeded in achieving the desired goals from them on the one hand, and whether they had the effect of changing the concepts of scientific research among researchers on the other hand, And to what extent it can be compared to scientific conferences outside Algeria.

For the foregoing, and following the descriptive approach, our study deals with all the scientific conferences that were organized by more than 6 Algerian sports institutes, stemming from the problem : What is the reality of organizing scientific sports conferences in Algeria and what is its impact on the scientific research system.

Among the most important questions: What are the indicators of the success of these conferences or not? Was it organized according to the regulations in force in developed countries ? To what extent have you succeeded in establishing and sustaining a culture of scientific research? Was it able to get out of the university walls and affect the social and cultural aspects of society ?
