Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the extent to which the dimensions of psychological defeat, self-esteem, and the level of religiosity contribute to predicting the trend towards sexual harassment, as well as knowing the differences between high and low attitudes towards sexual harassment in both psychological defeat, self-esteem and the level of religiosity.

the study sample consisted of (430) students.

from the male students of Fayoum university, the study tools included: (the psychological defeat scale, self-esteem, the level of religiosity and the tendency towards sexual harassment), and the results of the study reached: there is a significant positive correlation between each of the psychological defeat and the level of religiosity and the trend towards sexual harassment, and a correlational relationship negative between self-esteem and the tendency towards sexual harassment, the possibility of predicting the tendency towards sexual harassment among the sample members by knowing their degrees in the dimensions of psychological defeat, self-esteem and the level of religiosity, and there are statistically significant differences between high and low tendency towards sexual harassment in psychological defeat in favor of high tendency towards harassment there are statistically significant differences between high and low tendency towards sexual harassment in self-esteem and the level of religiosity in favor of those with low tendency towards harassment sexual.
