Abstract EN

The present study aims to reveal the social effects of the Algerian child's use of snap chat.

in order to achieve the research objectives of the study, the researcher used the two tools of structured observation and unregulated interview that were conducted on an intentional sample of ten children belonging to the age group from two to twelve years, in addition to their parents.

the study tools were applied virtually using the ethnographic method, which provides the researcher with in-depth information about the reality of Algerian children's use of YouTube and its impacts.

the study resulted in monitoring the various social effects of watching videos, with regard to the relationship of children with their families, friends and society as a whole, and the role of the site in the socialization of children.
