Abstract EN

The current study aimed to investigate the relationship between marital adjustment, social support, and psychological well-being in working women, and to identify the proportional contribution marital adjustment, social support, and psychological well-being level in working women in terms of the total degree and sub dimensions.

the study sample consisted of 302 working women from Abokbeer, Hehiaa and Fakous city, Sharkia governorate.

all participants completed (Abbott, 2006) psychological well-being scale (standardized by al-Gamal, 2013) and marital adjustment scale prepared by (Obied, 2014) and the social support scale prepared by (al-Samaduni, 2010).

the study results revealed that there is a statistically significant positive correlation between marital adjustment and the level of psychological well-being in working women.

there is a statistically significant positive correlation between social support and the level of psychological well-being in working woman.

both marital adjustment and social support contributed to predict psychological well-being for working women, the results also confirmed the differences between married working women with job experience (11 or more) and those with (five years or less, six to ten years) favoring working women with (11 or more) experiences.

the results also confirmed the differences between married working women with one child-three children and those with no children or have more than three children favoring working women with no children or have more than three children.
