Digital drugs in our modern time are considered one of the new issues that negatively affect individuals, the family and society, and it is a type of addiction via the Internet.

Digital drugs are audio files of different frequencies heard through headphones, so the brain gives an imaginary third frequency that makes the listener enter a state of unconsciousness and relaxation.

They make the individual feel hallucinations, which in some cases lead him to lose his mind completely.

The aim of the study is to shed light on its essence, its causes, the mechanism of its use, and its ruling in Islamic Sharia.

The jurisprudential adaptation of digital drugs is that they fall under the category of music, considering their nature, as well as under the category of drugs and narcotics due to the effects resulting from listening to them.

Therefore, the ruling regarding digital drugs is that they are prohibited because of the negative and harmful effects they have on the mind and body of the user.
