Abstract EN

This study deals with the impact of some macroeconomic variables such as the exchange rate, interest rate, inflation, investment, trade exchange rate and the growth rate of per capita national income on the performance of the Egyptian financial sector with its main branches, banks, stock market and insurance companies, through a number of variables (the volume of credit granted For the private sector as a percentage of GDP, dollarization rate of domestic liquidity % , total trading value and foreigners' share of it, and finally total premiums.

The study concluded that macroeconomic variables have a significant impact on the performance of the Egyptian financial sector.
