Iran has played a larger and longer field role in terms of time, in aiding the Syrian regime, by providing unlimited support represented in bringing Shiite militias into Syria to fight the opposition factions, which turned Iran to be the most influential country in Syria in terms of the field, which is This raised the pace of the regime's political, economic and security dependence on Iran, which has become an organic and strategic link with the Syrian regime.

The study analyzed the most prominent interventions that Iran pursued towards Syria during the period from 2011 to 2019, and the motive for choosing this time period were those events and developments that took place in this stage of a political movement that was the focus of the world's attention and its impact.

The study focused on the reality of the Syrian crisis, and the internal and external causes that led to the outbreak of this crisis, in addition to its development from a peaceful popular revolution to an armed revolution, in which regional and international parties intervened.

The study also clarified the determinants of Iranian foreign policy towards Syria, the stages, forms and dimensions of Iranian interference in Syria, the impact of this intervention on its regional influence, and its impact on its relationship with major powers.

It is most expected that Iran may be inclined to maintain its influence in Syria towards a soft power method, due to the external pressures it is witnessing seeking to curb it, and the necessity of shifting from the stage of solid intervention to the stage of gaining economic and social legitimacy.

It guarantees popular acceptance that supports its legitimacy as a soft country.
