Abstract EN

The study investigated the effectiveness of blended learning environment based (PDEODE) strategy on developing statistical skills and reduce statistics anxiety for education faculty students.

the researcher used the descriptive and quasi-experimental approach.

the researcher constructed check list of Statistical skills (11) main skills and (105) sub skills.

the tools used were a statistical cognitive test, statistical skills test and statistics anxiety scale.

the sample consisted of (50) students divided into experimental group and control group.

the tools of the study were administered after and before the experiment.

results showed there was a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the experimental group students and control group students on the post cognitive statistical test and statistical skills test in favour of the experimental group.

another statistically significant difference existed between the mean scores of the experimental group students and control experimental group students on the post statistics anxiety scale in favour of control group.

finally, the study recommended re-directing and re-organizing the different curricula and subjects in education faculty with the aim of developing student's Statistical skills and using different strategies to develop them and reduce statistics anxiety.
