The place, in its strict sense, is considered the most important visual element in the structure of the drama.

Every place, in the view of the recipient, has a special importance, having a certain summit on the aesthetic and semantic levels, even the space devoid of any landmarks has meaning.

There is no doubt that the place in the drama carries a connotation that permeates all the dimensions and events that surround the actor.

Thus, semiological studies see in the dramatic setting a coherent system or network of visual connotations governed by human relations between the dramatic characters.

The research aims to shed light on the connotations of the place through two different media (theater and television).

The researchers emphasized that the spatial structure of the artwork contributes to a large and decisive role, in the production of many connotations.

Where the place takes forms, and contains many meanings, and in some cases, it is even the purpose of the existence of the whole work.
