Abstract EN

The current research aims to identify the psychometric characteristics of the learning motivation scale for primary school students with learning disabilities consisting of three dimensions of desire to learn, commitment and responsibility, dealing in the school environment, it consists of (49) items distributed over three dimensions, the desire to learn (19) items, commitment and bearing responsibility (13) items, dealing in the school environment (17) items, the scale is corrected according to the Likert scale (always- sometimes-never) and takes positive statements (3-2-1) and negative statements (1-2-3).

the sample of the study consisted of (53) primary school pupils with learning difficulties, at Bubsta elementary school al, Sharqiya governorate, and the age range between (9-12) years, their intelligence transactions ranged between (90-110), the validity of the scale was verified by means of discriminatory honesty (peripheral comparison), where there are statistically significant differences at level (0.01) between the highest and lowest quartiles, criterion validity (correlative honesty) the value of the correlation coefficient was (0.781).

the factorial validity, the degree of saturation of the dimensions on the general factor ranged between (0.30-0.44) and internal consistency was verified by means of correlation coefficients between the degrees of each of the expressions of the scale and the total degree of the dimension to which it belongs spanned between (0.320*- 0.953) the stability was verified by re-applying the scale, as it extended (0.860-0.645), and the method of alpha-Cro-nbach coefficient is high, as it extended between (0.909 0.943),these results indicate the availability of high indicators of validity, consistency and stability for the learning motivation scale for students with learning difficulties.
