Abstract EN

This research aimed to identify the social skills of children with developmental language delay and normal, as well as detecting the level of social skills between children with developmental language delay and normal due to gender variable, this research was applied to a sample of (130) boys and girls (children with developmental language delay, and normal children), those aged(6-9) years with an arithmetic average (7.78) and standard deviation (1.12), the researcher used the language scale for pre-school children (prepared by Ahmed Abu Hassiba), and the social skills scale (prepared by the researcher), the results of the research revealed that there were statistically significant differences at the level (0.01) between the average scores of children with developmental language delay and normal children on the social skills scale in favor of normal children.
