Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the psychometric characteristics of the children's social skills scale, and the researcher used the experimental approach, and to find the validity coefficient of the social skills scale, the researcher obtained the responses of the scale's terms from the members of the research sample of (20) children aged between (9-12) as non-distinct group, the researcher applied the same scale and the same circumstances on a sample of children between the ages of (12-15) years as a distinct group, and the researcher calculated the significance of the differences between the average ranks of the two distinct and non-distinct groups, and the results resulted in a significant correlation relationship.

statistically at (Stanford 0.01) level, the score for each of the five dimensions of the social skills scale and the total score of the scale in children from the study sample indicates that there is consistency between the terms and the dimensions of the social skills scale under study.
