This research aims to study the accounting for social and environmental responsibility as an entry point to contribute to achieving sustainable development.

A stratified random sample representing the study population was selected from the working individuals.

The researcher conducted a field survey for the case study of the Abu Qir Fertilizers and Chemical Industries Company, which included the distribution of questionnaires to a stratified random sample of workers in the industrial facility in question.

Abu Qir Company for the manufacture of chemical fertilizers, which is located in the governorate of Alexandria, The quantitative data were processed using the statistical package for social sciences, to collect the primary data and analyze it, depending on the statistical methods appropriate to the nature of this data.

Which includes descriptive statistics, and Pearson's correlation In addition, multiple regression was used to test the study's hypotheses.

The results also indicate that there is a significant and positive relationship between the variables, and that social and environmental responsibility is one of the mainstays for achieving sustainable development.
