تقنين اختبار تشخيص صعوبات التعلم DTLD لدى تلاميذ المرحلة الأساسية في محافظة إب الجمهورية اليمنية

Abstract EN

This research study aimed to standardize a diagnostic test of learning disabilities (DTLD) with pupils of basic education in ibb city, Yemen, through: identifying the extent of test face validity, its construct validity in accordance with the significance of internal validity and level of significance; its scores criterion-related validity; and its scores reliability in accordance with alpha Cronbach coefficient; and introducing criteria for interpreting the DTLD scores.

a number of findings were revealed in this study; most importantly are: the DTLD with the basic education pupils showed good face validity according to the experts' opinions; construct validity according to the significance of the internal validity and level of significance; good criterion-related validity in achievement scores ranged between (0.35-0.59) of the test areas; and good alpha Cronbach coefficient reliability of the overall score of the test (48.0) and of the score of each areas as ranged between (0.69-0.83).

finally, the criteria used for interpreting the pupils' scores in the DTLD were calculated based on gender (male, female), age (8, 9, 10, 11), and grade (3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th).
