Abstract EN

This search aimed to identify the effectiveness of employing electronic mental maps in the science and life research to develop deep understanding skills for third-grade students in Gaza.

to achieve this, the researcher used the quasi-experimental approach based on the two groups, where the research sample consisted of (84) female students of the third grade at Asmaa “a” school in Gaza, and the number of the experimental group was (40) students, while the number of the control group was (44) student.

the researcher used a tool represented in the deep understanding test.

research results: there are statistically significant differences at (0.01 ≥ α) between the average female students' degrees in the experimental group and the control group in the deep comprehension skills test in favor of the experimental group.
