عدم المساواة بين الجنسين معضلة كبيرة في البلدان المتقدمة.
وفقا لإحصاءات Charts Bin (2013) حول عدم المساواة بين الجنسين، فإن المملكة العربية السعودية لديها مؤشر كبير على عدم المساواة بين الجنسين.
مجتمعات الشرق الأوسط لديها اختلافات واضحة بين الجنسين في الحقوق و الواجبات في المجتمع.
لسنوات عديدة، ركزت المجتمعات الغربية على المملكة العربية السعودية باعتبارها واحدة من البلدان التي لديها أعلى مستوى من الفصل بين الجنسين.
نظرا لأن المملكة العربية السعودية بلد يطبقون فيه القوانين الإسلامية، فإن وسائل الإعلام الغربية تلقي باللوم على الدين الإسلامي في خلق عدم المساواة بين الجنسين و عدم الإنصاف تجاه النساء المسلمات.

Gender inequality is a huge dilemma in developed countries.
according to the Charts Bin (2013) statistics about gender inequality, Saudi Arabia has a high indication of gender inequality.
middle east societies have distinct gender differences in rights and obligations in society.
for many years, western societies have focused on Saudi Arabia as one of the countries that has the highest gender segregation.
since Saudi Arabia is a country where they apply Islamic laws, the western media blames the religion of Islam for creating gender inequality and not being fair to Muslim women.
