Among these distinguished Algerian figures and historians is Professor Dr.

Aisha Ghattas, may God have mercy on her, who became famous in Algeria, the Maghreb, the Islamic world and the world at large.

In this article, we will try to highlight the personality of Dr.

Ghattas through her scientific and humanitarian stances with her students and her university environment, so that we may honor her right as a leading professor in her field of specialization.

That is because its name was associated with the establishment of a historical curriculum that included all aspects related to the study of the history of Algeria during the Ottoman era, and the study of Algerian society in its various segments, components and functions during the same period.
