Abstract EN

This paper aims to study the problem of achieving governance and sustainable development in the countries of the Maghreb, considering that good governance is a prerequisite for promoting economic growth to reduce poverty and raise the standard of living of individuals, in order to ensure the success of the sustainable development process.

State agencies and the provision of a system of accountability, as sustainable development cannot be achieved unless there is governance.

We concluded that achieving governance must pass through finding effective solutions to the dilemma of democracy and corruption, which are among the most important obstacles to sustainable development.
