Abstract EN

The study aimed to reveal the estimation of body appearance and its relationship to psychological reassurance and depression among a sample of people with motor disabilities in Jordan.

Body Image Rating Scale, Psychological Security Scale and Depression Scale.

The results showed: that the degree of estimation of body appearance for people with motor disabilities came to a medium degree.

There is a positive, statistically significant correlation between the estimate of body appearance and psychological reassurance.

There is a statistically significant negative correlation between body appearance assessment and depression.

There is a statistically significant difference in the strength of the correlation between body appearance, psychological security and depression be consoled to the effect of gender and in favor of males.
