The developments in society and the diffusion of relations have witnessed the emergence of recent trends in the field of recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments, represented by the 2019 Hague Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Judgments in Civil and Commercial Matters, an agreement concerned only with the international enforcement of foreign judgments without addressing international jurisdiction and the criteria for determining it, This international enforcement of foreign judgments is limited to judicial rulings issued by the courts of the member states of the Convention, and the Hague Convention helps to open new enforcement paths between courts in countries that have limited enforcement systems or that do not have current enforcement systems, and the greater the rate of accession of countries to the Convention Hague provisions The more powerful the agreement becomes as a tool for unifying the rules of recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments, with a broad base of participation.
