Abstract EN

In this study, an attempt is made to find out what the prose poem is and the position of literary criticism towards it.

This poem has received what no other literary genre has had in terms of debates, discussions and differences, whether with regard to its name and the accuracy of what it discloses and what surrounds that label, or what is related to its affiliation or nonaffiliation to The genre of poetry, in view of the most important opinions that were said about it, and this study also attempts to clarify the characteristics of this literary genre and the reasons for the limitation of its world; Therefore, it was divided into paragraphs or vocabulary, the first paragraph was the introduction as it showed the effect of the Arabic language in motivating, and provoking its owners to search in its space for everything new that could be included within its diverse and complex arts.
