The research focuses on the French Revolution that erupted in 1789, which came with new principles and ideas, as the men of the revolution tried to spread these principles and ideas and transfer them to the European peoples who were submissive under the royal governments, so the revolution initially faced opposition from the kings of Europe, especially Austria and Prussia, then Britain later, which changed its position from neutrality to opposition, specifically after the execution of King Louis XVI.

As a result, France declared war on Britain, so France entered a war with most of the countries of Europe after its war was limited to Austria and Prussia.

In addition to the steadfastness of the French in front of those allied armies, France even took the initiative and took control of new regions and concluded treaties of its staunch enemies allied with Britain, especially the Netherlands, Prussia and Spain.
