The research deals with studying one of the most important left-wing parties in Turkey, which is the Turkish Labor Party and its political activity during the period between (1961-1980).

Turkey has witnessed during this period many internal and external developments that have had a major impact on Turkey's development in all aspects, especially legal and constitutional issues in the social, economic and political areas.

The Turkish Labor Party was the main representative of the left-wing political side in Turkey and was among the parties that contributed to these developments.

This study aims to clarify the role played by the Turkish Labor Party in order to win the support of the Turkish people, and the extent of its success in reaching power, and whether its participation in the elections had an effect in changing the Turkish political reality, and what is the position of the Turkish government regarding those activities.

It should be noted that despite the actions undertaken by the Turkish Labor Party, he was unable to develop itself in comparison to other political organizations, and his influence was weak in the Turkish left movement.
