English Abstract
This study aimed to identify the impact of human resource management strategies on the organizational immune system in the Aqaba Special Economic Zone authority.
The study population shall be from the authority of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone and its departments and divisions.
The study population was considered a representative of a sample, as the comprehensive survey sample was approved for all managers, their deputies, assistants and heads of departments in the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority.
Data were collected through a questionnaire that was developed based on previous studies and through the reviewers and distributed to the study population of (190) elements, and the correctness of which was for analysis (120) questionnaire.
After the normal distribution, validity, validity, and factor analysis were tested, descriptive statistics were used to describe the study sample, then hypotheses were tested through the use of multiple-regression and stepwise regression analysis.
The results of the study showed that the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority practiced human resource management strategies at an intermediate level, where the most important practice in terms of level was the training and development strategy, then the recruitment and selection strategy, and finally the performance evaluation strategy.
The study results also showed that the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority is available Its employees have an average perception of the organizational immune system.
The results of the study indicated that there is an effect of human resource management strategies in part for some of its strategies in strengthening the organizational immune system, as it was found that maintaining human resources has the greatest impact then the performance evaluation strategy, while it was found that there is no effect of compensation, training, compensations and selection in some dimensions of the organizational immune system in the authority of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone.
Finally, the study recommended the necessity of working to enhance strategies for recruitment, performance evaluation and compensations, and more attention to the strategy for performance evaluation, compensation and training.
It also recommended conducting similar studies on other industries to examine the possibility of generalizing the results to other departments and devices.
