Since the focus in the educational system has become on learning instead of teaching, and self-learning instead of indoctrination, working on didactic pillars occupies an important place in didactic practice, as employing them in every lesson, and at the level of each subject constitutes a didactic starting point, from which the learner proceeds to achieve the established goals.

For each activity, the self-construction of knowledge through positive accumulation is used to build the development of the observed competencies.

The geographic map pillar is considered an essential tool in the geography lesson, because of its role in developing the learners’ spatial thinking skills, activating their participation in the lesson activities and building their learning.

, by identifying the weaknesses through the development of two forms, one directed to learners, and another directed to teachers, which accurately identified most of the difficulties and obstacles, and thus developed a plan to address them.
