Abstract EN

This study examine the economic and financial effects of cyber attacks as a result of resorting to digitization, as many companies, financial institutions and even countries are affected by piracy operations.

the study also seeks to develop appropriate strategies to protect data in sensitive sectors, based on diagnosing the causes of cyber attacks.

however, we will rely on the descriptive analytical method, as well as a case study of many countries and the various statistics available over many years.

as results, we found the need to reduce cyber-attacks by developing strategies that protect data for institutions and countries, as these attacks led to great losses for various institutions, especially banks.

accordingly, international cooperation and benefiting from the experiences of leading countries in cybersecurity remains the solution to protect the economic and financial sectors from hacking and data penetration.
