The factor theory is one of the most important field, which has received great attention, especially the controversy between Basra and Kufa school.

the controversy between them is due to the principles on which they were based in limiting and justifying the rules.

the Basra school adopted the method of measurement, while Kufa adopted a direct description of the linguistic phenomenon.

thus, enriched the Arabic library, but at the same time it increased the complexity of grammatical studies on students, especially in the current stage.

that a study discussing one of the ancient debates that attempts to analyse factor theory and its influence on linguistic studies.
