Abstract EN

The study aimed to know the role of research laboratories in achieving excellence for Algerian universities from the point of view of laboratory directors at the university of Kasdi Merbah Ouargla.

In order to achieve the objectives of the study, was prepared a questionnaire and distributed to a sample of (30) director of laboratory directors at the university of Kasdi Merbah Ouargla.

And it was used SPSS program version 23 to analyze the data, using some statistical tools such as (mean, standard deviation, correlation coefficient, simple regression coefficient) The study found an acceptable reality for scientific research laboratories and a high level of excellence in university of Kasdi Merbah Ouargla, the study also found a positive and direct statistically significant relationship between research laboratories (as a tool for scientific production) and excellence of universities
