There are many positions that differed in the evaluation of cultural thought by Malik bin Nabi.

some of them believe that his thought is a Muslim social reformer that has a high scientific and practical value that must be followed in every process of cultural change sought by the Islamic world in this age .and some of them see that the idea of civilization like other theories have occurred in some methodological pitfalls and cognitive pitfalls, and therefore cannot be counted as a reference to cultural change in the Islamic world, and the purpose of this paper is to reveal the cognitive and monetary background of these two attitudes and to indicate the extent of the objectivity of their respective proposition.
