the informal urban market includes a reserve army of those individuals who can obtain employment in the formal sector in the event of its expansion, and this requires as a large surplus of work, as well as the availability of some skills and experiences of this market that will enable them to obtain employment in the future, and this army consists of two sub-groups, the first : consisting of individuals who are constantly looking for work and live on savings and borrowing from relatives and friends, and as long as they are not productively engaged, they are of course not part of the informal market, and then they are considered exceed from the inner circle.

as for the second group, it consists of those individuals who can theoretically get a job in the formal sector, but they stopped searching and went to work in the informal market, as wage earners, they intend to leave the informal market when job positions become available in the formal market.
