Abstract EN

The current study aimed at exploring the level of CSTA standards inclusin in the contents of computer and inflormation technology in the intermediate satge in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

To achieve this objective, the resaerch employed the approved Descrit-ive Approach for analyzing the contents.

A content analysis card has been prepared.

It included the CSTA standards that should be integrated in the computer and information technology books.

It consisted of (5) core standards which encompassed (23) sub-standards.

The study sample included (3) books, which are computer and information technology books in the intermediate stage, in the first and the seciond semesters.

The study revealed that there is a general low inclusion of standards in computer and information technology books.

The inclusion of the three computer and information technology books was (30.34%), (26.1%), and (47.82%), respectively.

The findings also indicated that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of (05.) in the inclusion of the CSTA standards in the computer and information technology books, which is attributed to the class variable.
