The aim of the research is to identify the effectiveness of a training program based on representational play in developing creative thinking in kindergarten children (5-6) years, and to build a program of representational games to develop their innovative thinking, and to verify the effectiveness of this program to achieve the research objectives, the researcher used the Torrance test for creative thinking, image (b), which contains (3) drawing-based activities to measure the child's level of creative thinking, and this test was used for pre and post measurement.

a group of representational games were selected that aim to develop a set of cognitive processes, including: (visualization, sharpening thinking, remembering, perception, linguistic fluency ...) the research sample was chosen from kindergarten students (5-6) years, and they were divided into two groups, the first experimental and second subjects.

the experiment took two weeks in the form of two separate sessions, and the application of the first session took about an hour, while the second session took about half an hour, and the session was done collectively.

the results of the current research concluded that : 1- there are no differences between the members of the experimental and control groups on the Torrance test for creative thinking, image (b) in the pre-measurement, and this confirms the homogeneity of the sample members before the application and thus ensuring the program’s effectiveness in developing creative thinking.

2- there are differences between members of the control and experimental groups on Torrance test for creative thinking, image (b), in dimensional measurement.

and based on the results of the research, several recommendations and proposals were developed.
