Abstract EN

The aim of the research is to identify the importance of the high balls aimed towards the upper corners.

And its relationship to scoring goals, by conducting an in-depth survey by analyzing the 2018 FIFA World Cup matches to identify the percentages of goals scored and the most common goals.

The research also aimed to identify the relationship of the ankle angle of the foot with the height of the ball aimed at one of the upper corners of the goal and its impact on scoring goals while kicking the ball from the penalty mark in football, through the mechanical analysis of a leg for the player executed using three-dimensional imaging using high-speed cameras.

The researcher used the descriptive analytical method for its relevance to the nature of the research, and the research was conducted on four Soccer players for the first-class clubs in the Iraqi Premier League.

So that the researcher can then enter the imaging capabilities into the kinetic analysis program and extract the data related to the ankle angles, and then enter them into the SPSS statistics program, and the researcher concluded that there is a relationship between the angle of the ankle and height of the ball aimed at one of the corners of the goal.
